Marist Australian Football Club (MAFC) would like to thank Geoff Davidson, our outgoing Club President (2020 - 2023).
Geoff over the last four years not only undertook his Club President duties, he also
guided the club through our difficult COVID years ensuring the boys, the Club and our home games remained a safe environment,
assisted in organising and celebrating the Clubs 50th year,
contributed to themed rounds including ANZAC tributes and delivering a memorable Acknowledgement of Country in Ngunnawal language,
spent numerous Saturday's at Lindwall in the fluro Grounds Manager jacket,
tirelessly upheld the Club's reputation within the Canberra community,
provided and encouraged strong Marist values and ethos within the club.
The club would also like to thank Geoff's family, Tash, Alyssa and James. The time and effort undertaken for a large volunteer role is a family commitment. The Club appreciate the support the Davidson family have provided MAFC over the last four years.
As an Old Boy, Geoff mentioned that he felt blessed to experience first hand, for a second time, the Marist College community. We wish Geoff all the best in the future and hope he enjoys watching from the sidelines in 2024.
