Merchandise
MAFC Uniform : - All players must wear the MAFC AFL uniform at all games.
The Club Guernsey – will be provided to all players on game day.
The playing jumpers are all the property of the club and remain the property of the club and MUST be returned to the Club at the end of each year.
Juniors Shorts and socks: are available at the school uniform shop.
No other sports socks or AFL coloured socks are to be worn on game day.
Senior Polo Shirt Jumper Shorts and Socks: The Ist XVIII playing squad will be provided with a jumper, shorts, socks and Team Polo shirt as part of the team Sponsorship.
The Club polo shirt and grey school pants and black shoes are to be worn to and from all games and official team/club functions.
The senior playing jumper remains the property of the club and is not the property of the player who wears it. At the end of the season the club gifts retiring players a jumper, based on the number of players and the number of jumpers available.
Boots: Whilst some of the boys (or parents) might like the bright “Flouro coloured” boots pink, bright red or lime green colours don’t really go that well with our Royal Blue socks, shorts and jumper. Black or Blue boots are best.
Skins: or “bike shorts”. AFL Canberra League Bylaws state if wearing “skins” or the like under the shorts then they are to be the “same colour as the clubs shorts or of natural skin colour”. MAFC Club shorts are Royal Blue, so dark blue or black skins will be okay.
All boys should wear briefs or skins under their shorts, no boxer shorts or other pants are to be worn under the AFL shorts. If exceptional medical conditions apply please advise the club so we can inform the league.
Track Suits: the Club track suit is the College track suit and it is also available at the schools uniform shop and is part of the school winter sports uniform. The college track suit is to be worn to and from games and no other track suit.
Mouths Guards are considered mandatory on game day and at training sessions.
Head Gear is optional and acceptable. The Club do not provide either.
Water Bottles: Whilst the club will provide “pump” water bottles at games all players are required to have their own water bottle with their name clearly marked on it. Please bring it to training as well as on game day.
(good opportunity for sponsorship if any one can provide quantities)
